The St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) proudly recognizes Mrs. Kimona Huggins, Building Maintenance Officer within the Authority’s Maintenance Department, following her nomination for the Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWiL) Emerging Female Leader Award in observance of International Women’s Day 2026.
Mrs. Huggins joined SCASPA in April 2013 as an Administrative Assistant, where she began building a strong foundation in operations and organizational support. Through dedication and continuous professional growth, she transitioned into the role of Projects Assistant, before being promoted to her current position as Building Maintenance Officer.
Over the past decade, Kimona has demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a strong commitment to excellence, successfully transitioning from administrative responsibilities to the technical and logistical demands of infrastructure and building maintenance within a complex port environment. Her work contributes directly to maintaining the efficiency and safety of SCASPA’s critical infrastructure.
As a woman advancing within a traditionally male-dominated field, Kimona continues to set an example through her professionalism, determination, and leadership potential.
