Your airline can provide you with a wheelchair if you need assistance to or from your flight. Service should be requested from the airline in advance, but if the need arises, you may also do so at the ticket counter when you check in.

The post office is located in the public area of the departures terminal. Passengers and visitors can mail letters and packages, as well as purchase stamps or packaging materials. The opening hours are Mondays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays 8:00 am – 3:15 pm.
There are also post office boxes conveniently located in the departures check in area and departure lounge.
Please note that as in other jurisdictions the post is subject to security screening and may be inspected by customs.

For our arriving or departing passengers, airport users and airport staff, there is an Ambulance Centre which operates from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, in the public area of the Departures Terminal. Contact your airline representative should the need arise. Please note that there may be a charge for the use of these services.

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located in the departures terminal in the public area and after the security checkpoint in the retail shopping mall. Only XCD currency is dispensed. The ATMs can accommodate Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Conveniently located in the departure terminal at the airport The opening hours are 5:00 am – 9:00 pm daily, including bank holidays. Services offered includes selling of travelers’ cheques, cash exchanges for both local and foreign currencies, changing of foreign currencies, cash advances on visa credit cards and changing of travelers’ cheques to Barbados currency. The Cambio is also open from 1:30 pm on Christmas day.

At RLB our airport porters are easily distinguished by their caps, which are red, and that is why we call them – that’s right – Red Caps. They stand ready to assist you in your arrivals and departures, ensuring that your luggage is ably conveyed.
The Red Cap porters are available in the public area to take your luggage from curbside to the check-in counters for departing passengers. If you’re arriving, you can use one of the porters in the baggage reclaim hall who will take your luggage out to the public area.
The service cost is $2.00 XCD per bag for each passenger.

As is the case around the world, airport security around the Caribbean has greatly increased since 2001. A valid passport and a valid return ticket are now mandatory for all visitors to St. Kitts. This is regardless of nationality and now includes Americans and Canadians.
All arriving visitors are required to supply St. Kitts immigration with the full address of where they will be staying to be allowed entry into the island.

Visitors to St. Kitts are asked to observe that in addition to airline and air travel regulations there are strict and enforced regulations on certain items which may not be brought into the island. These items are prohibited by law and penalties may be enforced. Please take note and follow these guidelines below:
Duty-Free
The government of St. Kitts allows that travellers into the island can bring a certain amount of items free of normal customs duty charges.

- 60 ml of perfume and 300 ml of all other scents.
