Meteorological Data
|
Our meteorological department of SCASPA is the only department in the Caribbean region that is owned under the authority of a statutory body. The Control Tower which houses the Air Traffic Control and Meteorology Departments was opened in 2003. Our Meteorology officers provide reliable meteorological and aviation information to the general public and to aircraft. They observe the weather elements, report the observation to aviation personnel, businesses and media houses, prepare and transmit the observations, and compile climatological data.
