| Port Zante There is ample accommodation for cruise ships at two dedicated berths at Port Zante in the heart of Basseterre’s waterfront area. These modern facilities are large enough to accommodate ‘Genesis’ class cruise ships as well as receive smaller pleasure craft. In addition, Port Zante is one of the few ports in the English-speaking Caribbean that can accommodate the world’s largest cruise vessels. [ read more] Basseterre Cargo Port Conveniently located on the Basseterre coast, the Deep Water Port, the main cargo handling facility for St. Kitts, can comfortably accommodate vessels over 900 ft long with a draught of 27 feet.
