Bird Rock, Basseterre, St. Kitts (Wednesday 13th September 2017 – In celebration of its 24th Anniversary, The St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), management and staff opened its month of social activities with a thanksgiving service at the St. Georges Anglican Church on Sunday 3rd September 2017.

Joining in the celebration were the Minister with responsibility for SCASPA, Mr. Ian “Patches” Liburd, Chairman of SCASPA, Mr. Don M. Boncamper and Board Member, Mr Vincent Woods.

At the appropriate juncture in the service, Minister Mr. Ian “Patches” Liburd was afforded the opportunity to highlight the critical role the Authority plays in the development of the country. He stated that  24 years of success is no small feat and referred to the Authority as “the protector of the St Christopher and Nevis’ economy.

The Minister also expressed his profound gratitude to the management and staff of the Authority for their unstinting commitment and dedication to serve our nation. He wished the Authority continued success as it all redounds to the future development of our twin-island state.
